Saluting the 100th Anniversary of the New Bern Historical Society, NC Plein Air Art Festival is partnering with Coastal Plein Air Painters in a Warm Up Paint Out during the Historic Home Tour . Bringing the ncpleinair.org, New Bern Historical Society and CPAP together to celebrate history and art the paint out is Open to the public.
May 12 & 13, 2023 Paint Out – Open to the public. Tour is ticketed.
All Historical Districts are within boundaries for painters
Meet and Greet for all participating artists and public.

Bring an easel to display your painting for exhibition/sale and to be considered for a $100 Cash Prize and feature page in the 2024 NC Plein Air Art Festival Wall Calendar saluting the 100th Anniversary of the New Bern Historical Society.
$100 CASH PRIZE & PAGE IN 2024 NC PLEIN AIR WALL CALENDAR
NC Plein Air Featured Artists will be invited to paint as a warm up for the event May 14-21 but will not be eligible for this special Heritage Home Tour page of the calendar. Their work will be considered in a selection process during a reception May 19, 4-6 pm at the main Exhibition Gallery, New Bern Farmers Market. 421 S. Front Street.
