My enthusiasm for plein air takes me outside to paint fields\, marshes\, farms\, rivers and bays wherever I travel.\nMy interest in art started with comic book illustration at an early age. It was while studying for my BFA at Maryland Institute College of Art that an interest in oil painting emerged.\nArt has always been a vocation for me – as a portrait and caricature artist in Ocean City\, MD\, art director at a sign company\, teacher and freelance court illustrator. I steadily participate in paint outs and plein air competitions and have received numerous awards including a “Judges Choice” award at Plein Air Easton 2024.
