ARTIST SHORT BIO I have been drawing “since I used to draw on the walls as a child. This began my lifelong interest in visual arts which led to my earning a Master of Fine Arts at George Washington University. Born in the Midwest, I have fallen in love with coastal North Carolina. The marshes, rivers, lakes, and the vessels that sail upon them capture my eye, in particular, in early morning and late afternoon light. I have recently begun entering a few national shows and I have been delighted to be included several times, including Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, ArtFields, and the Portrait Society of America
