ARTIST SHORT BIO
Born in Kazakhstan and growing up in Crimea, surrounded by the Black Sea, Oleg started taking art classes in the local Palace of Culture at 11. Graduated as a Theater Stage Director, inclined toward stage decorating and design. He was deeply influenced by Russian Realism of XIX century, especially the masterpieces of Shishkin, Levitan, and Aivazovsky. Oleg started participating in various plein-air events in 2020 as a non-juried artist.

2024, North Carolina Plein Air Art Festival Quick Draw Open Division – 1st Place
Paint It Ellicott City 2025, 1st Place Gino Award and Sponsor Award by AARP of Maryland.
