ARTIST SHORT BIO
In Jeff’s career as an architect, he began his creative process with quick ink and marker sketches, learning to express design concepts with simple graphic images. This evolved into a fascination of painting with the immediacy and expressive opportunities of watercolor. Today, he quickly captures the essence and mood of street and landscape scenes with a bold, impressionistic approach.

Moving to a downtown Minneapolis condo in early 2020 facilitated his love of Plein Air, riding his scooter exploring and painting street scenes. He has combined his love of travel and painting by entering Plein Air competitions around the country, winning numerous awards along the way.
