Annual Youth Plein Air Workshop -Registration required-free

Youth Plein Air Workshop
In partnership with ArtHouse Art Studio
Sponsored by Seeds of Art nonprofit
The NC Plein Air Art Festival is proud to present the Annual Youth Plein Air Workshop, a hands-on creative experience introducing young artists to the art of en plein air painting.
Led by instructors Christy Casciello and Kit Jordan, students will learn how artists capture light, color, and atmosphere while painting from life. Participants will explore foundational techniques, experiment with materials, and create their own original artwork in a fun, encouraging environment.
And the experience continues beyond the workshop—
All student artwork will be displayed in the Main Exhibition Gallery during the Saturday evening Awards Celebration and again on Sunday during the final Quick Paint event. Young artists will have the opportunity to see their work exhibited as part of the festival weekend.
Whether your child is brand new to painting or already loves to create, this workshop offers a memorable opportunity to learn, grow, and participate in a professional art festival setting.
