NC Plein Air Art Festival Featured Artists Paint ORIENTAL – ALL DAY
Join us for the Oriental Pop-Up Exhibition & Reception hosted by Broad Strokes Gallery, a nonprofit community gallery partnering with the NC Plein Air Art Festival.
Throughout the day, Festival artists will paint live across Oriental, capturing the town’s waterfront beauty and historic charm. Visitors are encouraged to explore Oriental and watch artists at work. RECEPTION IS FOLLOWING DAY – MAY 13, 2026 That evening, paintings created in Oriental that day will be exhibited at Broad Strokes Gallery from 5:30–7:00 PM.
Meet the artists, view and purchase freshly completed plein air paintings, and learn about the inspiration and techniques behind the work in this special public reception celebrating Oriental’s beauty and artistic spirit.
Our roster of artists will split up for these days, with half of the roster remaining in New Bern – Craven County and the other half in Oriental….attending each day ensures you have a chance to see all the artists in Oriental May 12 & 13, 2026
